The task reports help me to organise my business better in the long term.

Introduction of the farm

Tim Satzger and his family run a family farm south of Landsberg. The farm includes a biogas plant with an output of two megawatts, which generates electricity and supplies two district heating networks in neighbouring villages. The family also runs a dairy herd of 80 cows and cultivates 300 hectares of land, of which 200 hectares are arable and 100 hectares are grassland.

Intuitive for Fendt drivers

Tim started using FendtONE offboard at the beginning of 2024. He started by entering all the farm's master data and areas into the system. The user interface of FendtONE offboard is intuitive and similar to the operation of Fendt tractors, which made it easy to get started. The farm has a small structure with 300 hectares divided into 100 individual areas and an average field size of three hectares.

Benefits of FendtONE offboard

Tim Satzger sits at his desk in front of two screens.
FendtONE offboard makes it much easier to plan and carry out daily work on the farm. Tim creates detailed orders in the office and sends them directly to the machines and drivers. This includes instructions on machines, implements, seed and the areas to be worked. Thanks to automatic field recognition, the drivers can open the orders directly in the field and get started straight away.

The Satzgers have recorded the exact area boundaries with the Fendt tractors and transferred them to the system so that the data in the office and in the field match exactly. The live position of the machines supports both planning in the office and coordination in the field by showing the drivers where the machines are located. This is particularly helpful if, for example, fertiliser, seed or diesel needs to be delivered.

Conclusion

The task reports from FendtONE offboard help Tim to optimise operations in the long term. They help him to save on operating resources, deploy labour more efficiently and improve operational processes.

His verdict on FendtONE offboard: "For us as an arable farm, FendtONE offboard is innovative, helpful and simple."
