Introduction to the farm

Tobias Händel comes from Baden-Württemberg, where his family runs a mixed farm with viticulture, arable farming and some vegetable growing. The farm has a small structure and comprises many individual areas. Tobias' grandfather bought the first Fendt tractor back in 1976, and the family has been convinced by the Fendt brand ever since. Over the years, various innovations have been introduced on the farm, including the Fendt Vario transmission and track guidance with RTK correction signal in 2016.

Introduction of FendtONE

In 2023, the family purchased their first FendtONE vineyard tractor. Since then, track guidance has also been used in viticulture. This is particularly advantageous in the small-structured landscape with many irregular areas and individual tracks. With FendtONE offboard, they can now work field boundaries and manage waylines, which is a considerable support in their day-to-day work in the field.

Benefits of FendtONE offboard

In future, Tobias Händel also plans to use FendtONE offboard to create jobs and document work. This is to be established on both the FendtONE machine and the Fendt Vario from 2013. When creating a job, the machine, implement and driver can be selected. The area on which the work is to be carried out can also be specified, as can the sowing, sowing rate and crop.

Conclusion

Tobias Händel sits at the table and looks into the camera. In front of him is the laptop he is working on.
The FendtONE operating concept was introduced on the farm with the first FendtONE tractor, followed by FendtONE offboard. The intuitive and simple operation of FendtONE offboard makes it possible to edit field boundaries and manage waylines without having to record them manually with the tractor. Tobias Händel says: "For me, FendtONE offboard is self-explanatory, future-orientated and efficient."
