Fallow areas as far as the eye can see: In the Russian district of Nerchinsko-Zavodsky, which is located in the Transbaikal region, there are many unused agricultural areas. The company Mangazeya Agro, LLC wants to change that. With the help of two Fendt 1038 Varios, several thousand hectares of land are being converted once again into arable land.
In 2020, the company Mangazeya Agro LLC launched an ambitious project in the district of Nerchinsko-Zavodsky: Director Yuriy Kolodiy planted crops with his team over 4,500 hectares that had lain fallow up to that time. The crops include linseed, spring rapeseed, oats, spring wheat and barley. The team prepared a further 4,000 hectares for sowing. To complete the work reliably, the company bought two Fendt 1038 Varios.
