When I sell my Fendt, I'm sure of two things, firstly that my tractor will sell faster and at a higher market value, and secondly that my hourly costs will be the lowest on the market.
Ludovic Renon, head of agricultural enterprise, France - Fendt 714, 722, 820 Vario, Katana 65
When I sell my Fendt, I'm sure of two things, firstly that my tractor will sell faster and at a higher market value, and secondly that my hourly costs will be the lowest on the market.

In the dynamics of ATS "Agriculture, Travaux et Services" (agriculture, work and services)

Less than 7 years after taking on the family farming business, Mr Renon and his wife have transformed the company, which today has more than250 customers and 3 permanent employees as well as the young couple themselves.

In the heart of the regional natural park of Avesnois, Perrine and Ludovic Renon set up home to launch their own farming business. They call themselves ATS (Agriculture, Travaux et Services) and are based in the town of Petit‐Fayt, in the south-east of Nord. This green countryside is home to multiple livestock farms and is where ATS offers its expertise to more than 250 farms within a radius of 30 km around the company's main offices.Known in the region for three generations, the baton was passed on to Ludovic Renon and his wife in 2007. In 2012, the company was reborn. The highlights of that year include moving into brand new premises and the company joining the group Presta’Terre, which aims to gain ISO 14001 certification for the company and demonstrate the dedication and transparency of its business in terms of the environment. These two events sum up the new dynamics driven by the young, entrepreneurial couple.

A dynamic team

Today, the couple has a team of three permanent employees and supplements its workforce with one to two extra people during peak periods. In this young team, there is no motivation like a job well done, and to stand by this edict, employees take special care of the equipment they drive. This includes carrying out a thorough inspection and preparation of the equipment in the company's ISO 14001-certified workshop during the winter months.

Exponential growth

After having doubled its turnover since its inception, the young company now offers more than eight business categories. Spraying all types of product, mowing, baling and wrapping and grass and corn silage constitute over 3/4 of all the company's turnover. To carry out these jobs, ATS has recently equipped itself solely with Fendt tractors. Two Vario SCR 722, 714 and a 820 make up the ETA fleet of tractors, and with more than 1,000 hours' work per year, these three tractors are never idle. The Vario 820 recently completed 110 hours of non-stop work in the mowing season.

In parallel, and to do justice to the 800 ha of grass silage and 550 ha of corn, Ludovic Renon has decided to replace his old harvester with a Fendt Katana 65.

A worthwhile investment

Justifying his reasons for choosing the Fendt brand, Mr Renon was swayed by two things; the professionalism and quality of service of his local dealer, backed up by a return experience: "When I sell my Fendt, I'm sure of two things, firstly that my tractor will sell faster and at a higher market value, and secondly that my hourly costs will be the lowest on the market". "I compared this a family member who has another brand and there's no question that my hourly costs are almost €5 less for the Fendt. This is going exclusively on the "purchase/sale" approach, without even factoring in the fuel savings of my Fendt."

Projects abound

In their perpetual quest for development, Ludovic and Perrine Renon are always developing their service range to meet the needs of their customers. Needless to say, with the arrival of their two children the future of the business is assured and the development of this young company can do no wrong in following the image of the team working there now: professional and dynamic.
